So after countless hours of scraping through my archives, I've gathered up all these Thomas models and put them all together for this picture. With the release of Sodor Workshop's new Dalby Thomas model, I thought I'd celebrate doing a collage of every single Thomas model known to man that's been made or released into Trainz since the dawn of time. It's getting hard to keep track of all these Thomases! XDĮDIT: 12/21/16 : Added in Gwoin123's old Thomas model, the 2nd joke model from Sodor Workshops, and 's updated Thomas models.ĮDIT: 3/21/17 : Added in 's RWS/TVS/CGI hybrid Thomas model to the "Honorable Mentions" list in the description below. THOMAS SODOR ISLAND 3D TRAINZ FULL
He is very cheerful and sometimes bubbly, being a bit easily excited about things like taking a heavy train full of stuff he never hauled before.EDIT: 12/5/16 : Added 's TAB Thomas, UKBL's updated Thomas V6, and several of Sodor Island 3D's early models. This results him to be a bit bossy but still shows a friendly side.īeing an engine who lacks a bit of common sense, Sawyer is usually seen behind his smarter brother when working with him, rarely being the leader of the duo's trains unless there's no other option.
He has more common sense than his brother does and is more serious on the task at hand, wanting to get the job done safely and smoothly. Simon is the smartest one of the duo, often being the one leading his brother on freight drags. They can sometimes seen working together or with another diesel, but they often prefer working together due to the teamwork they have. Nowadays you'll find these two workhorses haul longer and heavier freight trains the DCRR ever has, like hauling a train full of wind turbine parts, pieces of a Boeing plane, a huge turbine and so on.
When the two diesels arrived by ferry to Dalmatia Island and sent to the shops in Dalmatia City, both units gotten themselves painted in Southern Pacific's bloody nose livery as sort of a "what-if" scheme if the order of AC6000CWs ever made it to SP's hands. When the Dalmatian Central wanted two powerful diesels to help the ever growing freight traffic outside of Dalmatia City, the railroad bought both Simon and Sawyer along with a BNSF SD70MAC, but that's another story. They mainly worked in the state of Wyoming, but they didn't work together a whole lot thanks to being in different towns with Simon working in Cheyenne and Sawyer working in Granger. Originally suppose to go to the Southern Pacific, being only 3 ordered for the SP, Simon and Sawyer were sent to the Union Pacific thanks to the merger of the SP and UP, resulting them being in UP colors rather than having the SP's bloody nose paint job they were originally going to have. They are both former Southern Pacific AC6000CWs built by General Electric during the horsepower race between EMD and GE between 19.
Simon and Sawyer are one of the big diesels that handles heavier freight trains on the Dalmatian Central.
