What made this movie unique was the enthusiasm (and, of course, the passion) of Ganesan as a performer. A lot of movies that followed tried to mimic this with actors playing multiple roles (2, 3, 4… up to 10!). This was a breakthrough in Indian cinema with an actor doing nine roles in a movie. This would have, otherwise, gone unnoticed if it was not for Brandon who posted it in his Facebook page.
To Brandon’s surprise, the generous lady not only made a special clam chowder for Brandon’s grandmother but also included a box of cookies as a gift from the staff. Brandon couldn’t disappoint her and called the nearby Panera and talked to Suzanne Fortier, the store manager. It was actually an unfortunate situation as Panera only sold clam chowder on Fridays which it wasn’t. She added it would be a great if he could get her a bowl of her favorite clam chowder from Panera Bread. She asked him if he would be able to get her a bowl of soup apparently the soup that the hospital provided was really bad. He has a grandmother who is terribly ill with cancer.
